Laura has an assignment starting Wednesday in Milwaukee where the high on Thursday will be 11 degrees so I decided she needed a new hat. I have already knitted her two hats but thought she needed one to cover her ears better. So Saturday night I looked through my favorite book with hat patterns and found this pattern. Then I looked through my tiny little stash of yarn and was surprised to find a yarn that was perfect. The hat was such a fast knit - I was done in about three hours. I made my first I-cord - that was fun! Laura loved the hat or at least acted like she did and that is all that really matters. :) I hope it keeps her warm!
