A new car show came to Wichita this weekend - it had a good turn out, not as many cars as the car show in July at Automobilia but I think it will grow. The only problem I had with it was it started on Friday with them shutting down Douglas, McLean and 2nd street. I really think the weekend would have been enough - it made getting to work a real struggle for people. On Saturday night the cars drove down Douglas so we took lawn chairs and sat with David and Cathy Worley to watch the show. This car show was great for people with sore knees :) The cars came to me instead of me going to the cars. I took a ton of pictures but it was like taking pictures of triplets - a few came out. The cars were doing burn outs which made it hard to get a good shot but a few really came out well. It was a ton of fun and I hope they do it again next year.
