I started this blog to help myself keep track of my knitting and crocheting projects so thought it about time I posted a few!
I started afghans for the triplets in July. I knew I would be sitting a lot with the knee surgery and knew on pain medicine that knitting might be a challenge. I can crochet in my sleep so bought yarn to make the girls afghans in "their" colors. Lily - pink. Audrey - purple and Izzy blue.
A teacher in the district that also goes to my church has gone through chemo this summer and lost her hair so I knitted her a hat this week. I love the pattern, it is simple but came out very cute.
In progress are a couple of baby blankets and a hat for a friend's husband. I have made at least five of these to send to soldiers overseas and one for Dennis and Jimmy - they are made of wool and are very warm.
