I haven't mentioned my knitting projects lately because the project I have worked on since January 11th was a surprise for my son Jimmy's birthday. His birthday is today and the vest was finished up yesterday. I am very pleased with the way it came out and felt very good with his reaction - his words were "I am very impressed!" :)
We had a great day with him - met them at Red Beans Grill. Audrey and Izzy ate like little pigs and Lily even ate 1 1/2 goldfish. We went to their house and had cake and ice cream. Izzy and Audrey really liked the cake with the frosting that I make. They were a big help in opening presents for their daddy - they won't need instructions next weekend on their own birthday!
